This is the tower-house at its most elaborate; just an L-shaped square on the bottom with all sorts of corbelled out turrets and things at the top; famous gardens, too; not a serious fortification, but wasn't mean to be (although strong enough to give a raiding party second thoughts); it is a manor house that has been turned on edge.
